Shotts-2 Mack Shotts, M.D.
  • University of Arkansas at Little Rock, 1972

  • Board Certifications: Medical Review Officer (M.R.O.)

During the ten year period from 1980-1990, Dr. Shotts held various hospital positions including Secretary of Medical Staff, Vice Chief of Medical Staff and Chief of Medical Staff. He has served on several hospital committees including the Quality Assurance Committee (Chairman) and Executive Committee of the Medical Staff. He has served as Chief of the ER/OP department at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. As a civil surgeon, Dr. Shotts is also certified to perform immigration physicals as well as FAA physicals. As a certified medical examiner, Dr. Shotts is certified to perform DOT physicals. 

Williams Dwight Williams, M.D.

Over the past ten years, Dr. Williams has served on several committees at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He was elected Chief of Staff 1997-1998. Dr. Williams was the 2005 President of the Arkansas Medical Society and is a member of the Executive Committee. He was appointed to the Arkansas State Board of Health by Governor Tucker 1993 and was reappointed by Governor Huckabee in 1998. Dr. Williams lives with his wife Judy and has two grown children, Jarrod and Traci. As a civil surgeon, Dr. Williams is also certified to perform immigration physicals.  As a certified medical examiner, Dr. Williams is certified to perform DOT physicals. 

Monroe-2 Lance Monroe, M.D.

Dr. Monroe served as an active duty Medical Officer in the United States Navy from 1977-1980. Since 1980, he has been in private practice. Dr. Monroe joined Paragould Doctors’ Clinic in 1998. Dr. Monroe has severed on several hospital committees and as a Civil Surgeon, is certified to perform immigration physicals. He served as Chief of Staff for Arkansas Methodist Medical Center from 2003-2004. He currently serves as a Medical Officer in the United States Navy Reserve. As a certified medical examiner, Dr. Monroe is certified to perform DOT physicals. 

Short Walter Short, M.D.

Dr. Short has served in the medical community for over 25 years, serving as a respiratory therapist and active hospital staff in Little Rock, Magnolia, Warren, and El Dorado, AR from 1991-1998. He also previously served as Director of ER and CCU in Crossett, AR from 2000-2002. Since then, he has been active in Northeast Arkansas and Southeast Missouri as an emergency room physician at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR from 2002-2016 and Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett, MO from 2010-2016. Dr. Short joined the staff at Paragould Doctors’ Clinic in July 2016.

Wilmer Lauren A. Willmer, APRN

  • Board Certification: American Academy of Nurse Practitioners

Ms. Willmer grew up in Greenville, MS. Her BSN was received at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR in 2012. Her Doctorate was received at University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN in 2015. She has had RN experience in pediatric nursing at Miracle Kids Success Academy in Jonesboro, AR. Her most recent experience was as a family nurse practitioner for Piggott Community Hospital where she worked full time in a family practice clinic and part time in the emergency room. She is also DOT certified.

Mrogers Mauri Rogers, APRN
  • University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, 2018
  • Board Certification, American Nurses Credentialing Center

A native of Paragould, Mrs. Rogers has a heart for serving the communities of Northeast Arkansas and Southeast Missouri. She previously performed as a registered nurse in the UAMS Intensive Care Unit and was responsible for the care of critically ill patients. She was also an instructor for the new graduate ICU residency program at UAMS and performed community service at the UAMS 12th St. Clinic from 2013-2018. She joined Paragould Doctors’ Clinic in August 2018.
